As individual components or gear units, gear wheels and gear components form an indispensable part of many machines, such as – in our case – fine mechanical assembly groups, fine mechanical systems and measuring movements.
What is essential is the precision of the production of all gear cutting parts. This is a non-negligible factor – because after all, even the smallest wheel can bring the entire machine to a standstill. We offer gear wheels and toothed segments, through to pinions, involute splines and axels.

With our gear cutting machines from the Swiss timepiece industry, we manufacture straight serrations such as gears, gear segments, pinions, involute splines, pulleys and other gear cutting parts with diameters ranging from 1.5 mm to 64 mm and modules from 0.15 to 1.0. Post-production processing, such as rolling of bearing points to strengthen and smooth the surface, is available upon request at Sellmaier.
With this process, we can achieve accuracies of < = 0.005 mm.
Additionally, we offer gear cutting parts made of plastic which we produce with plastic injection moulding. Plastic parts with metal inserts (hybrid) are also available.
